Must-eat vegetarian cake in office cafeterias 🍰

It's back to work on Saturday, but the crowds in Central are noticeably smaller. I found a vegetarian cafe upstairs to relax and unwind for half a day. 📍Location: Cross the street at the Central Market, then turn down a small alley on the right. The cafe is on the first floor of a private residence, just seven minutes from my office. 🏠Environment: There's an outdoor terrace and indoor seating, with seating arranged along the walls. The center is where the cash register and cake display are located. There's a painting of a giant elephant on one side of the wall. Various potted plants are placed on the terrace and in the corners, adding a touch of greenery. 🤵🏻Service: Minimum order is $100, plus a surcharge. 🍽️Lunch: No set menus available on holidays. 🍜Northern Thai Curry Tofu Skin Chicken Drumstick 🍗 Mixed Noodles 🍜 $138 This is our signature dish. The broth is rich and coconutty with a rich curry 🥥 texture. The accompaniments include tofu skin chicken drumstick 🍗, shredded carrots, shredded king oyster mushrooms, crispy wonton wrappers, and a side of pickled vegetable and chili sauce. The tofu skin is perfectly rolled and crispy, which is fantastic 🤩. The chili sauce elevates the broth to another level, making it filling and delicious overall 😙. 🍰House Slice Cake $48 The cake of the day 🍰 was hojicha persimmon, sprinkled with chocolate 🍫 and interspersed with fruit pulp. The hojicha cream had a rich tea flavor without being greasy at all. This cake was of high quality 👍🏻 and was a pleasant surprise 😍. I'll definitely be back for more cake in the future 😚. 🫖 Cranberry Acai Tea $48 A pot of hot tea in a glass. Wait for the tea flavor to develop. The berry flavor is incredibly fragrant and pairs beautifully with the cake.
