Tonight, I met my sister after work at a recently opened coffee shop. They specialize in waffles and potato woks, and they also have vegetarian fruit bowls. Location: At the intersection of Laughing Street and Hollywood Road, on one side of the intersection, take the Central elevator up. Environment: A metal floor-to-ceiling glass door and a potted plant 🪴 mark the entrance. Inside, there's a waiting area, adjacent to the bar and serving area. Further inside, there's a pink and orange booth with window seats and sofas. A large potted plant 🪴 adds a touch of embellishment in the corner, and a wavy ceiling light. The overall ambiance is sweet and British. Service: The staff primarily speaks English and promptly offer multiple dishes for sharing without asking. They're very attentive and helpful. Dinner: The menu is diverse, offering a wide variety of options for vegetarians, those with lactose intolerance, and those on a keto diet. Topped with shredded cheese🧀, it's incredibly delicious and rich. My sister and I couldn't stop devouring it🤩. For $150, such a generous portion is a great value👍🏻. The meat is pink and tender with a hint of sinew, chewy but not tough☺️. However, the beef flavor is quite mild🐮! The mashed potatoes have a nice, grainy texture and are sprinkled with herbs, which are also excellent. 🥣Butterfly Pea🍯 (Dairy-Free) $98 I've recently fallen in love with this fruit bowl; it's both healthy and delicious😍. The base milkshake lets you choose toppings other than milk. We opted for oat milk. The base fruit is 🍌 banana, 🥭 mango, red dragon fruit, vanilla, and butterfly pea flower. The top toppings include coconut flakes, 🍓 strawberry, 🍌 banana, 🍫 chocolate chips, organic chia seeds, and passion fruit. The flavor is refreshing, not overly sweet, and has a refreshing 🍧 texture, perfect for cooling off in the heat.
