I've been flooded with IG posts by the Butterfly Patisserie at Rosewood Hotel! As a non-sweet food lover, I was immediately overwhelmed by the fairy butterfly shape~ I walked in around 12 noon, and the shelves were still full of Hokkaido custard tarts. A taro lover took away a taro cake! Let's talk about the main point first! The butterfly tarts are so beautiful that I can't bear to eat them! The pastry is well-layered, and the custard filling is dense and sweet, not too sweet. It's definitely worth taking away when you pass by~ But the taro cake is just ordinary, the taro paste tastes light, and the taste is not dense enough😔 The coffee drinks are average, but the dry fried beef noodles that I added temporarily are surprisingly delicious and fill my stomach directly! However, at a price of HK$230, it's really not worth making a special trip😅 On the contrary, seeing that the wine list is affordable, I want to try cocktails next time! Remember to add a 10% service charge~ In summary: the appearance of the egg tarts is better than the taste.
