Happy Valley Sen Jun Lounge • An Extraordinary Horse Racing Experience

Right to Happy Valley Racecourse 🐴 Enjoying a Happy Wednesday with friends 🌙 Every Wednesday, the Hong Kong Jockey Club hosts the Happy Valley Night Races (with some exceptions) If you want to comfortably enjoy dinner while watching the races, I pre-booked a table at the 🍴 "Sen Jun Lounge" restaurant on the 4th and 5th floors of the grandstand. Smart me chooses to reserve indoor window or terrace seats 🪟 Some indoor seats even have dedicated TVs 📺 so you can follow the live race updates instantly. To feel the live horse racing atmosphere, you must pick a terrace seat to enjoy the best viewing position, overlooking the racecourse track and finish post from above 🏇 with a super wide view to admire the Happy Valley night scenery—so soothing 🎑 The restaurant offers both Chinese and Western set menus 🍽️ The sets are quite rich, including appetizer, main course, soup, and dessert. I chose the Chinese double-boiled soup set – Satay Beef Brisket Pot 🤎 The satay flavor is super tasty, 🐮 the beef brisket is very tender, and my favorite mango pudding as dessert 🍮 My friend ordered the Western set 🐟 Puff pastry spinach fish fillet with Paris butter cream sauce. There are also very attractive unlimited drinks 🥤 including Chinese tea and rich, smooth milk tea ☕️ After a full meal, we went to the outdoor area of the racecourse to soak in the full carnival atmosphere 🕺 There was a live band singing and dancing with a lively vibe 🎶 Attracting the audience to dance along with hand and foot movements 💃 You can also buy beer and snacks on-site 🍺 Then head to the sand circle to watch the horses and pick your favorite. Really had a great time with friends 🥳 At 9 pm, during supper time, the restaurant offers late-night snacks including my favorite tasty and crispy fried siu mai chicken nuggets. Ensuring you can eat and watch the races all night 🤩 Great value for money with both food and experience.
