Savor the Warmth of Hing Kee: A Must-try Claypot Experience in Hong Kong

#foodie Located on Temple Street, Hing Kee Claypot Rice is a bustling dai pai dong filled with Hong Kong charm, especially lively at night. I ordered the Chinese sausage and lard claypot rice, as well as the pork rib and chicken claypot rice. Both dishes were fragrant with oil and packed with flavor. Eating the claypot rice in winter is particularly comforting, making it a perfect choice for the chilly weather. If you want a crispy rice crust, remember to lift the lid, drizzle in some oil, and cover it for a few minutes—it's simply amazing! Additionally, the stir-fried water spinach was delicious, with a nice wok hei. The oyster omelette (large portion) was impressive, enough to fill four people. Of course, a bottle of cola is a must for a refreshing touch. This local experience is highly recommended for tourists. Although it's usually crowded, visiting around 7:00 PM on weekdays means you can avoid queuing—definitely worth a try!
