Lam Jai Tea Stall was once Michelin-recommended, especially for its stir-fried dishes. However, this visit was during afternoon tea time, and the prices were reasonable. They offer congee, noodles, rice dishes, and fried snacks. The Singapore-style fried noodles were fragrant and not spicy, with less oil and a dry texture. The pork chop bun was also good. Overall, the food quality was quite impressive. The only letdown was the lemon tea, which had a bland tea base and was rather bitter.
