Stepping into Bongchu again, my heart was filled with anticipation. Previously, I was always drawn to their fried chicken, but this time I decided to try their signature steamed chicken. I was really looking forward to it! As soon as I walked in, I felt the Korean ambiance of the restaurant. The traditional seating style made me feel like I was in Korea. The space is spacious, and the seats are wide, so even when sitting with friends, it doesn't feel cramped. You can really take your time to enjoy the food. For appetizers, we started with a plate of cucumbers, bean sprouts, and kimchi. The colorful presentation and aromatic smell were full of authentic Korean flavors. The kimchi, in particular, with its sour and spicy taste, was a perfect appetizer, making you want to take bite after bite. If the appetizers aren't enough, don't hesitate to ask the staff for more. Their service is excellent. Next up was the Bongchu Steamed Chicken, and the portion size really surprised me! A large plate came with boneless chicken pieces and a variety of rich ingredients like cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, onions, and glass noodles. It truly catered to both meat and vegetable lovers, allowing you to experience different flavors with every bite. I chose a mild spice level, and it was already very satisfying. The flavor of the entire dish was incredibly rich, and the aroma of the sauce had a hint of curry, adding a layer of complexity to the dish. The glass noodles absorbed all the sauce, making them smooth and flavorful, turning anyone into a loyal customer after just one bite. Each mouthful was filled with aroma, making it truly captivating. This meal not only satisfied my taste buds but also provided a rare sense of leisure and joy amidst my busy life.
