The "Pocket-sized Treasures: Donation Exhibition of Chinese Snuff Bottles from the Cloud Pavilion Collection" is the largest and most comprehensive snuff bottle donation exhibition ever held by the Hong Kong Museum of Art, showcasing up to 490 sets of Chinese snuff bottles. Though small and can be held in one hand, snuff bottles embody the ingenuity and craftsmanship of Chinese artisans. Since their emergence in the early Qing Dynasty, they have been favored by the Eight Banners nobles and aristocrats. During the Qing Dynasty, they were used as precious gifts for envoys, rewards for officials, and tokens of appreciation among colleagues.
