The Hong Kong Palace Museum is a must-visit in Hong Kong!

The museum is a collaborative project between the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and the Palace Museum, showcasing precious collections from the Palace Museum and other important cultural institutions around the world. My visit coincided with a summer weekend, and there were many families with children visiting, as well as many foreign friends. It serves as a window to present Chinese culture to the world, and after visiting, one is filled with a sense of national pride. The museum building was designed by the renowned Hong Kong architect Rocco Yim, integrating Chinese traditional architectural culture. The highlight of the interior design is the concept of the 'central axis', a characteristic of the Forbidden City's architecture, which is reflected in three different atrium spaces on the ground floor, second floor, and fourth floor. These spaces are vertically aligned to penetrate the entire building, connecting all floors together. From the observation deck, one can enjoy very beautiful scenery.
