Hidden World Restaurant in Sheung Wan, very thick laksa soup base

Since I started working on Saturdays in April, I have more time to explore the Central and Sheung Wan areas. This time I visited a restaurant from my personal collection and avoided the usual working crowds, so I didn’t have to wait for a table and could be seated immediately. 📍Location: Near Sheung Wan MTR Station Exit A2, about 10 minutes walk, on the upper floor of a private building. 🏠Environment: There is a sign at the door. The store is not big, with about five tables, which can only accommodate more than ten guests. The back half is the kitchen. There are old Nyonya items on the wall for decoration, and the decoration is simple. 🤵🏻Service: Write your own order, no extra charge, and it takes some time to wait for the food to be served. 🍽️Lunch: Set meals are available, with curry rice or noodles to choose from. 🍤Fresh Prawn and Deep Sea Fish Ball Laksa🍜 $98 It may seem like a small portion, but it is actually very filling. 🍜The soup base is very concentrated😍, and the texture is like noodle soup. The curry flavor is strong😘, with a little spiciness. The ingredients include two peeled prawns🍤, with firm and refreshing meat😋; two fish balls that are chewy🤩; and the tofu completely absorbs the soup🥰! The noodle base is a mixture of oil noodles and rice vermicelli. The oil noodles are slippery and the rice vermicelli is soaked in soup. I like eating rice vermicelli and even drink the soup 😂. ☘️Handmade Pandan Cake🍰 $28 It is actually a Chinese pastry, with a more solid and sticky texture, not a chiffon cake, but I think it is acceptable😊, because the pandan flavor is very fragrant🥰, so it is a very filling pastry😂. Barley water🥤(cold) 🥰Sweet and ice-free, ☺️ a sincere work, just enough to relieve greasiness.
