Big Wave Bay Beach - Hong Kong

Big Wave Bay Beach is located on the east of Hong Kong island. It is a pretty beach with fine sand and a gentle descent into the water, there is a lot of places where to walk and what to see nearby. On the shore you can find cafes and shops, as well as rental of boards for riding the waves. This beach is favorite for surfers because there you can find big waves and this is a really great location to learn how to surf and surfing lessons are available. You can get there by bus from Shau Kei Wan Station. Take Exit A3 and then look for bus #9 to Shek O.
