【Tibetan-Han Fusion, Magnificent and Splendid】Xilituzhao Temple, one of the seven major temples in Hohhot, became an influential Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhist temple in Hohhot due to the contributions of the Fourth Xilituzhao in helping Kangxi pacify Galdan. The temple is not large, but there are many highlights. 🌟Highlights: The main hall features colorful Tibetan-style architecture; the Longevity White Pagoda, built in the Qing Dynasty, is also intricately carved; and there are Ming Dynasty murals preserved in the Ancient Buddha Hall. Compared to the bustling and crowded Dazhao Temple next door, this place is quiet and peaceful, which is very much to my liking.
