[Akatsu Hikawa Shrine/Tokyo] The shrine is bustling during its annual festival

Akitsu Hikawa Shrine in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A shrine located west of Shin-Akitsu Station. It is said to have been founded in 818 as the Hikawa Shrine, a Shingon sect Ryusenji temple in Akitsu Village. It was ranked as a village shrine in 1873. The entrance to the shrine grounds is covered by a large tree. There are four small shrines and a pair of fox statues on the side. There is a residence next to the main shrine, and people come and go, but the gift shop and other areas do not seem to be open to the public.
