A little robust but tasty

I visited this tiny (I mean really tiny) Thai restaurant called Kanokchai in Helsinki. The place looks a little robust but the lady running the restaurant (by herself and alone) is very nice and cooks very good home-style Thai food. The food isn’t Thai spicy as per default but I am sure it’s possible to have more fire to the curry in case it’s requested. Generally I could say that it’s one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Helsinki. The main issue is the capacity. One person can’t do much so she needs to serve people on a first-come-first-serve principle. So it might be a good idea to arrive during early lunch hours or early evening. The restaurant opens at 10:30 and closes at 19:00 but is closed on Sundays. You can find Kanochai from Toolo, near the center of Helsinki.
