My Visit to the Ateneum Art Museum in Helsinki: A Delightful Discovery! 🇫🇮🎨

#summervacay The Ateneum Art Museum in Helsinki truly suited my taste! I found its collection to be quite rich, even though many of the artists were local and unfamiliar to me. It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon Van Gogh's "Street in Auvers-sur-Oise" tucked away in an inconspicuous corner, categorized simply by the artist's use of vibrant colors. During my visit, the museum was featuring a comprehensive exhibition on the life and work of the Finnish realist painter Eero Järnefelt. His paintings were incredibly numerous, almost filling an entire floor! Among them, I recognized his famous Koli Landscape series (one of which I captured in image eight) and "Under the Yoke (Burning the Brushwood)" (image nine).
