The Old Market Hall in Helsinki

The Old Market Hall was opened in 1889 and is built just near the market square in Helsinki just next to the sea. It was designed by architect Gustaf Nystrom. There are around 25 different shops and cafeterias inside the market hall. One specialty is the smallest wine shop in Finland. The place is comfortable and the surroundings look nice in my opinion. There are many different cafeterias and small restaurants nowadays and many people like to go to the Market Hall for lunch or a cup of coffee. You can find the place just next to the market square and the presidential Palace. It’s located within a walking distance from the railway station as well.
