Gwangju Art Polygon + Missionary Residence The Yanglim-dong area of โโGwangju Metropolitan City is where foreign missionaries made their nests. They farmed, did missionary work, and spread culture here. They received support from their home country, but they also felt like self-supporting missionaries. They grew grains like pecans that they ate in their hometown and sold the surplus. At the time, it took months to ship, so they came to the barren Korean Peninsula with a sense of mission. ๐A cute cafe with a warm kotatsu, Mokhwadang Tour๐ Cafe Mokhwadang is a cafe located in Gwangju Metropolitan City. It is not a large cafe, but it has a total of 5 tables, and 2 of them have warm kotatsu. Of course, it is limited to winter!ฬฬ I think it is a neat and cute cafe that captures the hearts of women by using cute interior props and white/beige design furniture.โ๏ธ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฐ My friend and I were lucky enough to sit in the kotatsu seats, but during busy times, they operate the kotatsu with a 1-hour limit to provide more customers. Since there were no customers, we got permission from the owner and sat for quite a long time. We were lucky~๐๐๐ There was a tangerine-shaped prop on the kotatsu with a beige and Christmas pattern, so it was great for taking pictures. I tried to act refreshing and take a ๐ธphoto๐ธใ ใ ใ My friend and I ordered Totoro condensed milk latteโ๏ธ, chocolate latte๐ฅ, ice cream monaka๐ฆ, and dango dipped in honey๐ก. I hesitated because Americano goes well with sweet desserts, but when I heard that they would draw my favorite character Totoro, I immediately ordered condensed milk latte. As you can see in the picture, the dessert looks great, right? It's so cute ๐ As time passes, the kotatsu gets really warm and I feel good. I think I fell asleep for about 30 minutes while eating dessert. I felt like I became a cat.๐ฅฑ๐ด๐ฅฑ If you visit Gwangju, be sure to stop by the cutting-edge cafe Mokhwadang!
