Pink makgeolli making experience [Yeodamn]

Today I took the KTX to Gwangju, located in southwestern South Korea! I went to yodamn for a makgeolli-making experience that will make a great souvenir and a keepsake of my trip. Traditional alcohol like makgeolli has become popular among younger generations recently, and the number of people taking part in this experience is apparently on the rise. This pink makgeolli is made using red koji. The basic alcohol content is around 7-8%, but for those with a low tolerance for alcohol, they will teach you how to lower the alcohol content or add fruit syrup to make a fruit makgeolli, so it seems like it can be enjoyed by anyone. Vinyl gloves are provided for work, but since the taste changes when you make it with your hands, which is known as 손맛 (hand taste), I decided to try making it myself this time. Plus, the koji ingredients moisturize your hands, which is a nice touch (lol).
