Chimelong Safari Park Travel Guide for Families with Kids

I've been to the park 8 times with my kids, and finally put together this family travel guide: 🔺Travel Tips: 1️⃣🚂 Train: Sit at the back next to the guide for a better view and clearer explanations. You can see giraffes, zebras, camels, elephants, etc. up close. The ride takes 30 minutes. ★ We recommend sitting on the right side for a better view and to get closer to more animals! ★⏰ Train: 09:30–16:30 (around 16:30, the keepers start taking the animals home) ㅤ 2️⃣🚠 Cable Car: Swan Lake Cable Car Station (get off at Panda Park Cable Car Station (you can't get off at the Africa Station)); Panda Park Station (there are branch lines (to Swan Lake Station) and loops) ★ When there are fewer people, we recommend waiting for a cable car with a transparent floor for a better experience. ★⏰ Cable Car: 10:30–17:30 ㅤ 3️⃣ Walking Area: Follow this route to avoid backtracking👇 【👉Jurassic Forest→Rainforest Adventure (feed the parrots for CNY 20/time)→Golden Snake Secret→Komodo Dragon→White Tiger Mountain→Giraffe Square→Koala Park→Elephant Park→Panda Park】👈 Or (enter from the South Gate and walk in the reverse order to avoid the crowds) ★ Giraffe Feeding: CNY 30 on weekdays, CNY 50 on holidays per branch ★ White Tiger Diving and Elephant Show: Check the schedule in advance. ★ Many types of parrots ★⏰ 🦕 Qinglong Area: 10:15–18:00 ★⏰🦒🐘 Central Area: 11:30–18:00 ★⏰🐯 White Tiger Diving: 11:30–17:30 (every half hour) 4⃣️ The float parade is in the South Area. We saw the parade when we left from the South Gate (it wasn't part of our original plan). We had just gotten off the cable car and had basically seen everything. If you don't have enough time, you can skip the parade and 4D cinema. ★🎦4D Cinema: 10:30–17:30 (every half hour) ⭕️About the Time (the daily schedule is subject to the official WeChat account): ⏰ Park Opening Hours: 9:30–18:00 🎫 Tickets: CNY 300/adult, CNY 210/senior and child ㅤ ⚠️Travel Tips: ✅ Enter with your original ID card. ✅ Wear sunscreen and insect repellent. ✅ You can bring water into the park, but not fruit or food (to prevent feeding the animals). There are restaurants in the park, but they are expensive and not very good. ✅ Get a map when you enter the park. The park map also has route suggestions for reference. ✅ Be sure to bring a stroller or a child leash (otherwise you'll get tired). You can take them on the cable car and train (you can also rent a stroller in the park). ✅ For children aged 5 and over, we recommend trying the study tour route for a more interesting experience.
