📍 Girona, Spain, is the perfect summer destination! The Ancient City Walls, or Passeig De La Muralla, were built as a fortification to protect Girona from invaders. The walls were originally built by the Romans in 1BC and completely surrounded the medieval town of Girona. This is a must-do experience on your trip to Girona. From the top of the walls there are incredible panoramic views of the city, even the Pyrenees Mountains in the distance. It makes for an incredible photo opportunity! 📸 Walking along the entire length of the wall can take one to two hours.
