Girona Cathedral Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
To all the Game of Thrones fans!!!!!
#timetotravel
When my friends and I were planning our Spanish trip, they insisted on coming to Girona for a day trip. It is because they are Game of Thrones fans and the show filmed some scenes in this town, and this includes the Girona Cathedral and the steps!!
I have never seen Game of Thrones but I equally enjoy visiting the Girona Cathedral because it is a magnificent and beautiful gothic cathedral, it is certainly impressive especially when I walked up the stairs and looked at it closely.
There is also a garden, Jardines de La Francesa located right next to the Cathedral, make sure you visit it as well when you visit!!

It is located at Pl. de la Cathedral, s/n, 17004 Girona, 1.4 kilometers 20 minutes walk away from Girona train station.
It was built between the 11th and 18th centuries. To reach the main entrance, you must go up a large staircase from the late 17th century. The Gothic nave is the second largest in the World, after St Peter Basilica. Totals of 90 steps climb up , when you look down it is part of the Games of Thrones that was filmed.
Girona Cathedral dominates the skyline of Girona, if you are a fan of the Games of Thrones, you must visit here and surroundings to discover the filming scene.
[Girona Cathedral]
Girona Cathedral was built in the 14th-16th century, one of the world famous Gothic cathedrals. The cloister of the church
is a neo-Roman style, the facade and the main hall are Catalan baroque. The
main hall arch is 23 meters wide and is second only to St. Peter's Basilica in the world's unsupported church buildings.
The most precious piece of art in the church is the brocade painting Genesis, which was exhibited in the Treasure Hall.
Girona's main attraction is this cathedral, an elegant and compact town, this church is the most famous attraction
but more people know it is in the TV series "The game of rights" Inside the
both sides are full of delicious restaurants and lovely shops. It is said that the level of this church is very high,
can be seen through the decoration of the door, it seems to be the number of door wheels,
But the details of the sculpture are both exquisite and vivid, it is indeed a mixed church,
and, this quiet town, pure, calm and calm.
The moment when we arrived at the main church in the dense alleys, it did bring us an unexpected visual impact.
The 99-level heavenly ladder that suddenly turned out of the narrow alley, so did not hesitate to extend upwards and go straight to the church!
Stepping up the steep steps of 99, I think if it is a Christian,
step by step to step into the church, it will be more devout and moving.

Ibis Girona Costa Brava Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Gerona Game of thrones city
When I first saw this city my heart was happy, the food was lovely and the people were nice. I think I’m in love with Gerona.
No matter the language you speak you can get by everywhere. The main language of this town in Catalan. Which is kind of a mix of French and Spanish. Been French Canadian myself really help to understand their language and their culture. I will highly recommend that you try the fish their. It’s something else. Nothing compered with American food. The olives the wine and the quality of the products or just outstanding and I’m not even talking about the cheese and bread .wow I think this place deserves a 5 star

Roman period, the Gothic cathedral with the largest nave in the nave, the ancient walls of the
top of the mountain Relics and so on, you can walk through the millennium through the ancient stone path and explore the secrets of the ancient city.
[Note: Don't miss the souvenir]
Girona's stairs are very nice. The refrigerator sticker here is also a copy of the building is particularly delicate
also found that there is a "child squat" shape Souvenirs are designed with a lot of big stars. The image of the crater is very cute.
