Spain's Atlantic Coast Pilgrimage ~ Basque Country Between Ereaga Beach and Abra Bay, formed by the Nervión estuary, lies the Arriluce and Ybarra seaside promenade. This promenade features some of the most beautiful stately homes and palaces built by Basque nobility in the early 20th century. Surrounded by large gardens, it's one of the most picturesque walkways of the Basque nobility. The Lezama-Léguizamón Palace is undoubtedly the most famous and stately of these. Originally built in 1903 by order of businessman and politician Luis Lezama-Léguizamón, it underwent a complete reconstruction in 1919 by Basque architect Manuel Maria Smith.
