Experience: The moment you step into the Overseas Chinese Peranakan Museum, it's as if you've boarded a time machine, traveling back to the Republic of China era, and reliving an old dream of the South Seas. Dressed in the Peranakan attire of that time, you can better imagine the stories of that era. Zheng He's voyages to the West, some of his entourage stayed in Malaya, intermarried with the locals, and their daughters became the Peranakan. The exchange and collision of different cultures make this museum feel somewhat familiar, yet with a distinct flavor. The courtyard is not large, but exquisite furniture and carved crafts can be seen everywhere. In the modest town of Penang, it appears very luxurious, showing that Chinese civilization is still so dazzling and beautiful after many years.
