I hit the trail kind of late in the day, but honestly, it turned out perfect. The hike wasn’t super intense, just enough to make you feel like you earned your lunch. Once you hit the flame grass cluster near the top, it's like nature turned on soft-focus mode. The golden-pink grass lit up in the sun and waved around like it was dancing. So pretty! The summit gives you awesome panoramic views of Gangwon-do’s mountain layers, and the wind up there? Super refreshing. Great place to chill, snap pics, or just lie down and zone out. Not too many people either, which made it feel even more peaceful. Tip: bring a windbreaker, it gets breezy up there. And don’t forget snacks! Solid half-day trip if you want that “wow” scenery without dying on a steep climb. Definitely one for the summer season bucket list!
