The ancient architectural charm of the 'First City God Temple of Western Guanzhong'

Fufeng City God Temple is located at No. 5 East Street, Old District, Fufeng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It was first built in the third year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1370), with a grand scale, a long history, and a unique architectural style. Except for the main hall, which is a Ming Dynasty building with many repairs in the Qing Dynasty, the rest were built in the Qing Dynasty and repaired in the Republic of China. The ancient buildings here are staggered in height, orderly distributed, mostly with hard mountain roofs, dougong ridge beasts, painted carvings, and glazed cloud dragon patterns. Every brick, tile, beam, and column showcases the unique charm of Ming and Qing ancient architecture.
