The Giza Pyramids

The Giza Pyramid Complex, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is located in Giza on the Nile Delta. Built around 2500 BC, it has a history of 4500 years and was constructed by three pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty of ancient Egypt (Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaura). These pyramids are considered the most sophisticated representation of ancient Egyptian pyramids and are commonly referred to as The Great Pyramids. The Pyramid of Khufu is the largest among the Egyptian pyramids, originally standing at 146.59 meters tall. Due to weathering, the top has eroded, and it now stands at 136.5 meters, made from 2.3 million blocks of stone. The Sphinx, built during the same period, stands 20 meters high and 57 meters long, with a total length of 72 meters including its front paws.
