Dongyang Shijia Flower Hall, also known as Shijiazhuang Flower Hall, is located in the south of Shijiazhuang natural village, Weishan Town, Dongyang City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. It is known as the "No. 1 Flower Hall in Jiangnan". The Flower Hall was built during the Republic of China period. It took three years to complete and was completed in 1912. It covers an area of ​​745 square meters. It adopts a structure of one hall and three rooms. It has intricate decoration and is decorated with a large number of wood carvings. It also integrates traditional crafts such as stone carving, sculpture, and murals. The flower hall has a unique architectural style, with a brick and wood structure, white walls and flying eaves, and techniques such as openwork, overlapping carvings and deep reliefs on the doors, windows and corbels, which have a strong sense of layering and vividly reproduce various traditional folk opera stories. The wood carvings in the flower hall were created by Lu Lianshui, a famous Dongyang woodcarver. They can be regarded as a model of the combination of Dongyang woodcarving and architecture during the Republic of China period. The Flower Hall is not only an ancient residence, but also more like a sculpture art museum, preserving a large number of exquisite wood carvings.
