No spring is complete without wildflowers

The fragrance of April is all but gone, and the tassels on Sangling Ridge are just beginning to bloom. To see the most beautiful April snow and the hillsides covered with azaleas, head to Jianchuan to clear your mind and relax - Azalea flowers: navigate to Madeng Town, Xiangtu Township. Leaving Dali ancient town at 8 am, it's a self-drive of over 3 hours. Arriving around 11 am at Madeng Town, there's no food on the mountain, so we had a simple rice noodle meal in the town. The navigation indicates another hour and a half to Xiangtu Township, but in reality, you don't need to go that far. After passing the forest fire prevention, about half an hour's drive, you can see windmills and azaleas all over the mountains, vast expanses of them, very beautiful. Not many people, great for taking photos. You can rent ethnic costumes on the mountain, and locals with big speakers dance and sing on the lawn, very relaxing, like happiness materialized. We arrived after 12 pm, the weather was great, and we decided not to rush down the mountain. We found a small hillside, lay there idly looking at the scenery, pictures 8-9-11 were taken there. We chatted while eating sunflower seeds and even slept for over an hour on the mountain. Before descending, we all danced together, had a lot of fun, and didn't decide to go down until 3 pm. Tassel flowers: navigate to Sangling Village. The village is in Jianchuan County, not far from Jian Lake. We reached Sangling Village after 5 pm, and because we were short on time and had to return to Dali in the evening, we didn't go down to play. We passed by Jian Lake for a look and then left. If you have enough time, you can also go to Jian Lake for photos. Several tassel flowers were blooming by the village pond, swaying in the wind, so beautiful. This was my first time seeing tassel flowers, and believe me, photos can't capture their beauty. There were a few snack stalls by the pond, cold jelly for 6 yuan a bowl, Hui-style fried dough for 3 yuan a serving, both tasty and generous portions, much better value than the 12 yuan rice noodles in the ancient town. If you don't mind the travel, Jianchuan is really a nice place to visit now, with azaleas and tassel flowers blooming at the same time, definitely worth the trip. The flowering season is almost over these days, so if you want to go, plan your time and set off~ Last but not least, this motion-sick person didn't get sick this time, the road conditions are okay, so go ahead with confidence~
