Landscapes, figurative shapes, figures, birds, and beasts interweave to present various natural scenes, creating a dialogue and narrative within the space. Visitors can experience the natural aesthetics formed by different textures, shapes, and materials, and with their imagination, step by step, they reach a realm constructed by time and silence. In this flowing process, they reshape their understanding of the locality, nature, time, and art. Since the ban on quarrying in the Cangshan Mountains in 1998, marble gradually faded from people's view, leading to a generational gap in knowledge. Commonly, people regard marble as a building material or a folk toy for Dali residents, unaware of the splendid cultural imprint of marble throughout the long history. As the foremost of the 'Four Famous Stones' in Chinese history, marble has almost completely withdrawn from the stage of Dali culture. To address this issue, Li Zhenkui began planning and preparing for the Marble Culture Museum in 2013, and without looking back, invested his entire fortune. The Stone Space Marble Culture International Exchange Center was officially established in Dali.
