Hey, and Hey, it’s Nyhavn🇩🇰.
This place is colorful, captivating Nyhavn is one of Copenhagen’s most iconic sights and one of the locals’ favorite places to sink a cold beer on a hot day. Originally it was a commercial port where ships from all over the would dock, and it was packed with sailors visiting its pubs, ale houses and ladies of pleasure. Intriguing 🤨 but now it’s been renovated and dominated by different types of restaurants as you walk beside the canal. #nyhavncopenhagen #restaurant #canalside #colorful #sights #copenhagenlife
Copenhagen Nyhavn📍
Nyhavn in Copenhagen is amazing. The ice cream is remarkably amazing. You can just spend the whole day long staying here to kill your time.
Nyhavn is definitely a picturesque waterfront district in Copenhagen. Colorful buildings, charming boats, and lively atmosphere create an unforgettable scene. Must drop there if you have time in Copenhagen. Foods were delicious too.

Nyhavn canal side town 🍻🦐🦪⛴️
One of my favourite place to spent a day in the Nyhavn and surroundings. Locals and tourists come here to relax, eat and drink one of the restaurants lining the Nyhavn canal; sitting outside in the summer is wonderful and indoors in during the winter.
Here are roughly about 12 restaurants that serve fresh seafoods and coldest ale beers. 🍺
There are traditional Danish lunch and dinner served here: lovely burgers, fish & chips, lobsters 🦞 are all on the menu along with two mixed platters and a wide selection of smørrebrød with fillings including herring, eggs with shrimp and salmon.

An overlooked romantic fairy tale kingdom | Copenhagen, a spur-of-the-moment trip
In July 2022, a spontaneous trip to Copenhagen.
As we all know, the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, which accompanied us through childhood, originated here.
In a moment of impulsiveness, I bought a ticket for the next day. I departed from Hamburg, Germany, not far from Denmark. Since I couldn't get a train ticket at such short notice, I bought a Flixbus ticket instead, which took about 5.5 hours.
The fantasy begins here...
Got on the bus, after two and a half hours of driving suddenly entered a pitch-black environment, and we all got off the bus. After getting off the bus with a bewildered look, I found myself on a huge ship ⛴️... with duty-free shops, dining, and more. Opening Google maps, I realized that I was floating on the sea. So, blowing in the sea breeze, I began to make a travel plan...
🌟Highlight features:
1. Mermaid 🧜♀️
A bronze sculpture based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid".
Every tourist will go to the place to take photos. I think passing by, the surrounding lake and greenery are very beautiful.
Address: Langelinie, 2100 København Ø, Denmark
2. Xingang
Copenhagen is a place of charm, with many beer houses and restaurants.
3. Organ Church 💒
Suitable for taking photos, a bit far from the city center, about half an hour by bus.
Address: På Bjerget 14B, 2400 København NV, Denmark
Monday closed
4. Qu Fu Li Park 🎠
Disney's predecessor, it is recommended to spend at least half a day here. There are fireworks before closing at night. The fireworks are beautiful, but the music doesn't quite match.
The park has a separate app that can be downloaded in advance.
Location: Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 København V, Denmark
5. Changing of the guard ceremony of the Royal Danish Guard.
Wearing a furry hat in the middle of summer is a bit ridiculous but interesting. The exchange ceremony in Sweden was simple and elegant. However, the grandiose parade with a marching band lasted for a couple of hours.
At 12:00 noon every day, it is recommended to write early so that you can squeeze to the front of the crowd.
Address: Amalienborg Palace (Danish Palace)
6. ❤️ My top recommended destination:
Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
Suitable for art and leisure companions. This is a place where art and nature blend together. It is also a must-visit spot for me on this trip. Two years ago, I saw an exhibition of Louisiana in Shanghai and have been thinking about it ever since. After visiting, it exceeded my already high expectations. It is located by the sea, and the art gallery leads directly to the ocean. After a tiring stroll, you can sit by the sea.
Distance: Far from the city center, about one hour by Re train or 40 minutes by car. Located in the coastal area of northern Copenhagen.
Duration: Suitable for a day of leisure, at least half a day. It is also very suitable for staying there for a weekend.
Location: Gl Strandvej 13, 3050 Humlebæk, Denmark
🌟Restaurant:
1. Captain H Chinese BBQ & Korean Bistro
Chinese barbecue! I was so moved because there is no barbecue in the city where I live.
The price is on the high side.
2. The Olive
Local internet-famous restaurant, it's best to make a reservation on their official website in advance. I made a reservation in advance, but because I met a friend from Denmark and decided to eat together at the last minute, there was no available seat to add. However, after negotiating and waiting, we finally got to eat.
🔒Tip:
1. After 10pm, all restaurants are closed!!! The open bars only serve drinks, there is no food available. ⁉️‼️‼️
This is an absolute trap. It took me five or six hours to get here on the first day, and the several restaurants I planned to go to were closed. When I started to settle for less, I found that all the restaurants were closed!! I walked for an hour or two and almost covered the entire city on the first night.
2. If traveling independently, all train tickets can be purchased on the Omio app. Subway and bus tickets can be purchased at subway or bus stations.
3. Many restaurants are closed on Sundays. Denmark has many Michelin restaurants with good value for money.

Copenhagen is real winter fairy tale
I’m in love with another city in my travel list - Copenhagen! this city is like little gingerbread house, everything so cosy, clean streets, amazing cafes, a lot of furniture and design shops. You have to stay at least for 3 days to see all highlights
we had time to visit little Mermaid, sculpture of a girl from Andersen’s book, impressive churches, museums, sea port#copenhagen #wintergetaway #mytripvlog
Came to Copenhagen to explore and catch the ferry to Oslo ! I wanted a cheaper place to stay than the centre of Copenhagen so I stayed at the hotel cabinn metro on the outskirts of the city, I had a great time the hotel was affordable and the staff friendly ,nice clean room too!
The hotel was situated yards from an amazing shopping mall with numerous bars , restaurants and shops and also a train and subway station with regular trains into Copenhagen itself which took 10 minutes.
I had a few touristy things I wanted to do while visiting and was only here a few days…
I walked along the waterside and seen the little mermaid a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen depicting a mermaid becoming human , it was busy with tourists in the day so I would recommend going earlier to avoid the crowds !
Another place I would recommend visiting was the national museum of Denmark it’s prob one of the best museums I’ve been too , especially the exhibit named the RAID ! where you join the vikings on an adventurous journey with denmarks largest collection of treasures from the Viking age , it was awesome !
Lastly I wanted a view of Copenhagen so I scaled the rundetaarn a 17th century round tower with great views over the city ! costs about £3 can get very busy again even out of season but definitely worth a look …..
Part of Your World
I am a big Disney fan. I grew up to Disney stories and film, and the Little Mermaid is one of the characters I really enjoy growing up. Odd choice, I know. It is also for the same reason that Copenhagen has always been in my bucket list.
So when I finally got the chance, I didn't pass on the opportunity. I packed my bags and traveled almost 18 hours for an adventure and be part of 'that' world.
The weather seem to have cooperated. It was a rather breezy day perfect for a walk and I got the chance to see other interesting things on my way to see the Little Mermaid. The statue is just off the promenade known as Langelinie. Walking from the city centre is a great option, especially if you luck out with good weather. From the cobbled streets of the lively Nyhavn area, it’s a 20-minute walk along the harbour to The Little Mermaid, near the fortress of Kastellet (The Citadel), just across the water from Refshaleøen.
Finally, I reached the harbor and got to live my own Disney fantasy.

In addition to the famous bronze statue of the Little Mermaid, Changdi Park also has the equally famous Gai Feien Fountain, which contains a long history of Nordic mythology. The Geifion Fountain consists of a group of bronzes, including the four gods of the Feion and the plow.
Gai Feien is a goddess in Norse mythology. This group of statues tells the story of a goddess and the island of Zealand where Copenhagen is located: because the goddess was ordered to plant all the land in one day. She had to turn four sons into four bulls and finally ploughed the island in one day, and the island of Zealand was owned by her.
Near the fountain is the famous St. Ebinkirche, the Holy Communion of England. Built in 1885, the designer Arthur Blomfield imitates the architectural style of an imitation British Gothic church. The church has a unique taste and a local flair, which is well worth a visit.
The church is not very big, but it is very British. To enter the church, you must obey the order of the church. You can't smoke, you can't scream loudly, you can't litter, and the church is clean and hygienic. Before entering, the staff will ask where you are from, and then give you an introduction to the church. Fortunately, there is a Chinese introduction, and you will pray in good faith.
Tips:
Changdi Park is still quite long. It takes half a day to walk around and spend all the way. It is also convenient to rent a bicycle.

Attractions
Nyhavn Habour
Nyhavn 1-71 1051 Kbenhavn K
Newport is the most classic and lively attraction in Copenhagen. There are plenty of boats to dock here, and you can also choose to cruise the city.
Round Tower
Kbmagergade 52A
It is a bit disappointing to have a look at the city of a fairy tale. The mermaid is so small that Andersen is hard to find. The street playground is being renovated, and the memories are rushing. Recently, the city was revived in the movie "Danish Girl", and I saw the cloudy sky, the busy Newport, and the Rococo style building. Lily eventually failed to become a real woman, and love made him complete, smile passed away, he was so beautiful.
The May Day holiday is just around the corner. Do you plan to take your children to see the world? May 1 please take a rest, you can take your child to Denmark, a fairy tale country, and experience the ancient paradise where Disney is based on it - TIVOLI
Colorful Copenhagen, Denmark
Nordic Denmark, known as the fairy tale kingdom, colorful Copenhagen. For the first time in Northern Europe, it is destined to be attracted by the colorful houses here, fairy-tale cities, beautiful castles, and orderly streets.
Denmark is a big bicycle country. People here like to ride bicycles. The bicycle lanes on the roads are wider than the motor vehicles. There are bicycle lanes on the subway. There are also roads for bicycles on the stairs. Strolling, it will be very pleasant in the sparsely populated Nordic Kingdom.
Denmark is located in the Arctic Circle, the temperature is low, but many people like to eat tea outdoors, warm around the stove, and drink a cup of hot coffee, which is my favorite thing on the streets of Denmark.
