Honoring the Art of Master Singer Park Gwi-hee, Chilgok Hyangsa Art Center

Today, I visited the Chilgok Hyangsa Art Center! 🎶 Located on the slopes of Jagosan Mountain overlooking the Nakdong River, this place is a beautiful space where nature and culture blend together. 🌿 This center is particularly special as it is a traditional Korean music performance hall named after the renowned Gayageum Byeongchang National Intangible Cultural Heritage holder, Master Singer Park Gwi-hee, who was born in Chilgok. It also exhibits her life and achievements. It was truly a meaningful time to feel her great accomplishments and deep artistic spirit up close. 💖 The exhibitions throughout the art center, showcasing the life and musical footprints of Master Singer Park Gwi-hee, were impressive. The performance hall, where you can feel the profound resonance of Gayageum Byeongchang, was also magnificent! 🎻🎤 Reflecting on the artistic world of Master Singer Park Gwi-hee amidst the harmony of nature and traditional Korean music, it was a time to carry on her noble spirit.
