It's a local favorite, and everyone in Cheongju knows it. Have you been eating there since you were a kid?! It's been featured on major TV shows, and many celebrities have eaten here. It feels like you haven't been to Cheongju until you've tried it.🫣 On weekdays, there are fewer people, so there aren't many lines. But Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are a different story! While waiting in line on Friday, the person behind me seemed to be a local and was chatting with a Korean couple who were also in line. She said today wasn't too long, but on weekends, the wait was at least an hour, and the people in front were buying several at once. It's ridiculous! The shop also provides umbrellas for shade, and the crowds keep coming! 📌Sugar Cookies ₩1,500 Fried in hot oil until golden, the hollow inside is coated in sugar, and the crunchy texture is incredibly delicious. When you first get one, be sure to hold it upside down to avoid any oil dripping onto it, and be careful because it's incredibly hot!
