You can also take a bus – the stop is next to the park; you can find the route on the map. What we didn't expect in Changchun was to find a beach, especially one with pink sand, and such a large one at that. This is actually a favorite recreation area for the locals—we were there on a Friday afternoon, and it felt like a weekend: there were lots of tents along the shore. Yes, the Chinese love to come on vacation, pitch a tent for the day, and relax in the shade. ⬇️The beach is located in a large park on the riverbank, and like all parks in China, there are recreation areas, cafes, paths, even a small embankment, and slides for children. There are also fountains on the river, and they say they put on some beautiful show in the evening. We stopped by the beach on our way to an Italian cafe (they're geographically close) and weren't expecting anything at all, but, guys, we liked it so much that we wanted to stay—get some food, lay a blanket right on the bright pink sand, watch the sunset, and simply enjoy the beach atmosphere—so unexpected for Changchun.
