Miaoxiangshan Ski Resort Snow Season Opens

Located in the southern part of Jiutai District, Changchun City, between Changchun and Jilin, Miaoxiangshan Ski Resort ("Xiaomiao") is a key node in the Changji Ice and Snow Circle of Jilin Province. As part of the Daheishan Mountain range, an extension of the Changbai Mountain range, its main peak reaches an elevation of 479 meters with a maximum vertical drop of 248 meters. During the snow season, it becomes a paradise for ski enthusiasts, offering the thrill of alpine downhill skiing. For the 2025-2026 snow season, "Xiaomiao" is undergoing a comprehensive quality upgrade. In terms of hardware, the ski trails have been scientifically adjusted in width and slope, with new safety protection facilities added; the lighting system has been fully enhanced, making night skiing brighter and safer; and the snowmaking system has been upgraded to ensure excellent snow quality. On the service side, the ticketing system has been optimized, a beginner guidance area has been added, ski equipment updated, and dining and rest areas improved. Additionally, more than ten snow activities such as snow UTV, snowmobiles, snow go-karts, and snow bowling have been introduced, along with multiple photo spots. Currently, the phase two season passes for "Xiaomiao" are on hot sale, with limited quantities available until sold out, and sales end on October 25.
