Wat Khao Phra Angkhan

Located in Charoen Suk Subdistrict, Chalerm Phrakiat District, Buriram Province, this temple showcases Buddhist art blended with Khmer-style architecture. Its structure resembles the Phanom Rung Stone Castle. Additionally, the temple is situated on the mouth of an extinct volcano, which is believed to have been the site of an ancient Dvaravati-era monument, as evidenced by the carved stone boundary markers from that period. The temple, perched on a hill, offers stunning views and exudes an indescribable sense of sacredness.
