A SATISFYING HIKE FROM LAKE LOUISE TO LAKE AGNES

#hikingtrails The hike from Lake Louise to Lake Agnes is a 7 kilometer round trip, with an elevation gain of about 400 meters. Would consider it as a moderately challenging route, 2 hour each way. Along the hike, fellow hikers would offer encouraging words, saying things like, you are almost there, keep going ! Starting near the shoreline of Lake Louise, the trail ascends through dense forest, and halfway, you'll reach Mirror Lake, Bow Lake where many hikers would stop for a quick rest. The trail then continues uphill, with several switchbacks with glimpses of the surrounding stunning peaks. At the top, where the historic Lake Agnes Tea House was located, you can enjoy light refreshments while taking in the scenic mountain views. Would suggest starting the hike early morning 7ish or 8ish, so by the time you reach the tea house, the crowd has not arrived yet. #myhiddengems #100waysoftravel #canada
