Niagara Falls: A Thrilling Dance of Water
Having visited Victoria Falls, Iguazú falls and most of Icelands big waterfalls before, it was hard to imagine that another waterfall could live up to the expectations, so I went to Niagara without any and I’m glad I did because it really was amazing! I think it’s worth all the hype and if you have the chance to visit, you won’t be disappointed.
The light show at night is truly something special.
Allow me to tell you a bit about The Niagara Falls Illumination.
Hundreds of LED lights are housed in three locations across the Niagara Gorge in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Together, these lights create a breathtaking view not to be missed, and are illuminated every night of the year beginning at dusk.
This Illumination display features colour palettes and movements inspired by nature, including the sunrise, aurora borealis, rainbow and sunset. It also displays the colours of the American and Canadian flags, and other colours according to specific holidays/ occasions.
It was really beautiful to see the falls dance in different colors and also experience the difference between day and night.
Best of all! It’s free!
My travel wish for this year is to trek in Nepal.#2024wish

Favourite Trip of 2023 - Venice
Venice has got to be one of my favourite trips of 2023. It was my first time in Venice and I fell in love with this charming, rustic and romantic water town. The architecture was unique, love the many bridges running through the water town and the majestic grand canal. It was so soothing and peaceful for me to be cruising through Venice in the water buses (Vaporettos) though the waters was always busy and bustling. November is a good time to visit Venice with lesser crowds. Love the amazing gelatos and fresh seafood I had in Venice.
2023 Venice was great and I hope to explore new amazing destinations in 2024 with Trip.com, my preferred travel partner (app) that I always go to when planning my next place of travel!

Travel Alberta Canada
#Baff #Alberta #Canada
Yes, I want to talk about one of Canada's good points, which is Alberta's natural beauty, because I see that the group in general is a bit negative about Canada lately. I don't deny the bad points like rising prices, homeless people everywhere, and red real estate. But Canada has brought me many beautiful memories in the last 2 years and I want to share with everyone the following pictures of Waterton, Banff, Jasper, and Aurora parks. If I had to choose between living in Vietnam, America (I studied level 2 and 3), or Canada, I would always choose Canada. Thank you dear Canada and thank you everyone for reading.
P.S.: All pictures were taken with my iphone 11 camera and no photoshop.

Edmonton - One Day Trip
Went on a one day trip to Edmonton last Sunday (flew from Vancouver). Here are a few tips:
The best option getting in town from the airport (EIA) used to be the sky shuttle service, which unfortunately is currently suspended (Sep 2023). However the route 747 bus is quite convenient still if you can afford to wait a little (one per hour in the afternoon). Do remember to bring a $5 cash bill for the bus fare.
Once arrive at Century Park (the bus/LRT transit hub), look for a Rexall drug store near by for the 10 ticket bus fare pack. The tickets are good for both bus and LRT trains. Validate the ticket by stamping it at the kiosk prior boarding the train.
Downtown is rather compact and walkable. Art gallery, Library etc all within 5 mins walking distance. Ample food choices from western to decent Chinese dim sums.
UA (University of Alberta) is also within a few LRT stops. Nice and sizable campus with lots of energy.
There was a bit of smog in the city due to recent forest fires but eventually the sky cleared up amd the sun came out, nice.
Next time will try check out West Edmonton mall and report back...

Must Visit: Niagara Falls 🇨🇦
#timetotravel
Niagara Falls is a natural wonder that defies description. My visit to this majestic spectacle left me in awe of the sheer power and breathtaking beauty of nature.
Standing on the edge of the falls, I was enveloped in a misty embrace as I gazed upon the thundering cascade of water. The sight, sound, and even the gentle vibration underfoot were an exhilarating sensory overload. The Horseshoe Falls, in particular, were a mesmerizing sight.
Exploring the surrounding parkland and taking a boat tour to get up close to the falls provided different perspectives, each more awe-inspiring than the last.
Niagara Falls is not just a bucket-list destination; it's a humbling reminder of the Earth's natural grandeur. It's a place where you can't help but feel small in the face of such natural magnificence.

Niagara Carnival and Falls
#summerfest
On the Canada side of Niagara they have a carnival style amusement park. They have arcade games, rollercoaster, a giant ferris wheel, putt-putt golf, restaurants, gift shops, and hardrock cafe.
We first stopped at the Journey behind the falls to get up close to the waterfall. There are three different viewpoints to see the fall. We went at least 200m into the fall. You also get wet too.
Then we headed to the carnival amusement area. We mostly shopped and ate food. It got quite busy in the evening. I was happy when I got my funnel cake.

Train and sky view
On the Canada side of Niagara we took the incline train from the tablerock cafe to go visit the skylon tower. It is also accessible by the wego buses.
The train ride is a nice short ride up the hill. From there you can walk to skylon tower. You walk pass a hotel and casino.
You purchase tickets before entering the tower. The tower also has a restaurant inside but we opt out of the option. When you line up to ride the elevator, they take pictures and at the end you can purchase them with different backgrounds. They also have arcade games when you first enter.
Once you get to the top, you have a beautiful view of the two falls and the city. There is a gift shop on the observation deck too. When you go down you take a different elevator and see the falls as you go down.

Summer in the gardens
#summerbreak
Niagara on the Canada side. This is the floral showroom in Niagara Park. It is about a 12 minute walk from the view of the two falls and tablerock cafe. If you are at a different part of the park they have Wego buses that can take you there as long as you have a bus pass.
It is a small garden. In the greenhouse they have desert plants and some flowers. Outside they have little models of homes. I believe they reflect the homes of Ontario.

Insane Views at Sulphur Mountain, Alberta
To summit Sulphur Mountain, you can either hike up or take a gondola.
The hike up is 5.5km (return trip will be 11km) and is a continuous uphill climb with many switchbacks. The gondola is not gonna be cheap. Regardless of whichever option you choose, the views at the summit is well worth it!

Reasonably priced ranged from 40-80 CAD per entry, you can make your way up to two points within the tower.
There is the normal skydeck, and a higher one above. Entry times allocated are strictly enforced, so make sure you show up on time!
There’s also an option to do a sky walk outside the tower, so if you’re a thrill seeker, that’ll probably be an adventure to remember.

Behind the Niagara Falls 🇨🇦
Location: Niagara Falls - Canada
Very beautiful scenic attraction. When you first enter the attraction, a staff guides you into an elevator where you are handed a raincoat.
You can then begin to make your way into the tunnels and stand outside in the outdoor balcony space beside the waterfall. Friendly reminder to ensure your raincoats are properly secured before you step out because the water does splash at you if the wind blows.
Highly recommended, super memorable experience!

Lake Louise in Spring - still Frozen!
Lake Louise is a glacial lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. In the spring, the lake is typically still frozen and covered in snow, though the surrounding mountains begin to emerge from their winter coat of snow. The lake is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts, with opportunities for ice skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing on the frozen lake. As the weather begins to warm up in the spring, the ice begins to melt and the lake gradually becomes liquid again. This transition from winter to spring is a beautiful time to visit Lake Louise, as the snow-capped mountains provide a stunning contrast against the crystal-clear waters of the lake. In addition to winter sports, visitors to Lake Louise in the spring can also enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, and photography. The nearby Lake Louise Ski Resort typically remains open through April, offering a variety of skiing and snowboarding opportunities for visitors.
