Disappointing Tour Experience

We arranged a tour with Get Your Guide and it's something I wouldn’t endorse. The tour guide's voice was too quiet, making it difficult to understand anything, resulting in a complete waste of money. Instead, I suggest getting entrance tickets with access to the panoramic terrace and grabbing an English brochure at the entrance. The brochure details what you're observing. The Basilica is stunning! They host concerts here, which we attended the following night and found fantastic, along with performances at other churches in Budapest. You can get a list of events at the entrance. Concerts may be a bit expensive, but definitely worthwhile. Our tour was scheduled for an hour before sunset during the Christmas Market. If you're visiting during the Christmas Market, I highly recommend this timing. The view from the panoramic terrace was my favorite among all the sights we enjoyed during our time in Budapest.
