The Journey on the Sichuan-Tibet Line | Eighth Stop: Bomi

🎈Dear family, today is the eighth stop of our journey on the Sichuan-Tibet line—Bomi. Today's itinerary: Ranwu Lake -> Bomi 🌅 On the way, there was a heavy rain, and the road was flooded. Fortunately, our car is a four-wheel drive, so we easily crossed the water. Those on motorcycles were in trouble, their wheels stuck in the mud, and several motorcyclists had to help each other push their bikes to get out🚵 🏞 We passed a small village and encountered some children chasing us for money. A friend wanted to give them 200, but our local guide stopped him in time, saying that giving them some food would be enough. In the end, we gave them some egg yolk pies, bread, and fruits, and they stopped following us🥯 🚗 We parked our car on a meadow to take photos. There were many cows grazing on the grass. I draped a red scarf over myself to take beautiful photos but was afraid the cows might come and butt me. While I was nervously posing, two 👮 came and reminded us that this is a military area and we couldn't stay, so we left quickly. It was the first time I saw the soldiers guarding our borders, and I really admire them. They work so hard🙏 ✅ Ranwu Lake is truly a paradise on earth😍 The lake water is crystal clear and blue, surrounded by continuous snow-capped mountains and dense forests. Under the sunlight, the snow mountains, forests, and lake water reflect each other, creating an absolutely beautiful picture🌈 ⛺️ Staying in Bomi 🌙 As night fell, we saw the people of Bomi dancing their own square dance. That sense of relaxation is really enviable💃
