🌳 With mountains and trails, it's perfect for hiking or strolling. It's a great short trip from Beijing. It takes about an hour to drive from the east side of Beijing. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike all day long. ⛰️ It's a cost-effective option for family outings, with trails and hiking paths to choose from. The night view is a must-see! Estimated time: 4–5 hrs (depending on your pace) Location: Beijing Xishan National Forest Park (Haidian District) We visited in late autumn (November), so here's what to wear⬇️ Clothing: Hiking jacket/down jacket + wool hat (essential!) If you like hiking, you can take the hiking trail up the mountain, which requires some physical strength. You can take another trail or return the same way. We hiked up the mountain and took the trail down. It was a relaxing stroll. Bring a flashlight as it gets dark at night.🔦 The night view🌃 is worth the trip!
