This Sanlitun mountain-style hotpot is worth the wait

Finally got to try the newly opened Sanchu Shan Hotpot in Sanlitun after waiting for so long! Queued for a whole hour, but the moment we started eating, we knew following the trend was worth it! 💕I chose the half-and-half pot, which looked incredibly tempting when served. The original soup base is amazingly fragrant for cooking meat, with fresh celery leaves at the bottom and a bowl of beef offal added. Taking a sip of the soup right after it boils will blow you away! The spicy side offers another exciting flavor experience. 💕The Chinese pepper beef is a must-order! The beef has clear marbling, cook it in the spicy broth for 8 seconds, and enjoy the perfect blend of beef and Chinese pepper flavors - it's absolutely addictive. 💕The assorted mountain mushroom platter is also excellent, featuring six different mushrooms. The termite mushrooms especially absorb the soup wonderfully, offering a crispy and tender umami taste. 💕Don't miss the tri-colored mochi in original, matcha, and chocolate flavors - they're chewy and satisfying, perfect for one bite. 💓Their freshly made drinks are sweet and sour, perfect for balancing the spiciness. The atmosphere is great too. I can definitely say this will be my go-to hotpot spot for many visits to come!
