The Puxuan Hotel and Spa.

🏨Location Near Wangfujing, there is an art gallery downstairs, I think it's called the Guardian Art Center. I usually go to Xicheng and Dongcheng, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to my destination when it's not rush hour. 🏨Decor The decor is quite new compared to many other five-star hotels in Beijing with an "old cadre" style. It's the style you'd expect from a Puxuan hotel, with a modern Chinese style. Overall, it's a rare newly renovated hotel in Beijing. The lighting is warm and bright, so it feels safe even when you return late at night. 🏨Facilities The air conditioning is fine, and the bathroom and toilet are standard five-star hotel facilities. However, the toiletries and lotion are in large bottles, which may not be ideal for those who are a bit of a clean freak. 🏨Dining Fuchunju is great, if a bit expensive. I used to dine on the 8th floor, but now I go to the Left Bank restaurant on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, with some dishes available to order and some self-service. I highly recommend their steak and double eggs, as well as the vegetable buns. It's a great place to get a daily energy boost in Beijing, which is a bit of a food desert. I didn't have time to try the tea house and lobby bar, but I did go for a drink on the 2nd floor in the evening. It's very comfortable to have a drink outdoors at the Western restaurant at this time of year. 🏨Other services There are staff to help you with your luggage when you get out of the car at the hotel. When you check in at the front desk, you'll find that your room number is already in your room. There are welcome fruits and the like, and the mini bar seems to be free, with daily replacements. The turndown service is also very good. I highly recommend The Puxuan Hotel and Spa.
