🛏️【Beijing New Yunnan Crowne Plaza Hotel Stay Guide】 📌 Hotel Overview ❶. Comprehensive evaluation: The first wedding ceremony held after the hotel's opening was hosted by me, with guests like Xiao Lin, Bai Kainan, Jia Ling, etc., and the memory is still fresh. Among the six Crowne Plaza hotels in Beijing, our family of four has stayed many times, and the reason why we favor the New Yunnan CP so much is twofold: First, it's very close to our home in Dongcheng District, just 2.9 kilometers away; second, I am from Jianshui County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Although I have settled in the capital for a long time, I am extremely sensitive and filled with love whenever I see elements related to Yunnan. 🏨 About the Room ❶. Room layout: We stayed in the executive floor room 2311 (80 square meters single bedroom suite) again, with an excellent view that encompasses the charming scenery of the entire Sun Palace area and the East Third Ring (the sunshine is warm, instantly lifting the mood). Welcome fruits include grapes, etc.; children's bathroom amenities are complete. The gift is one of the specialties from our hometown in Yunnan - a rose flower gift box, which can be used for a bath, making me miss my hometown even more (coincidentally, my wife's favorite snack is also rose cake); the welcome card has multiple languages (including Yi language, etc.), with Yunnan elements to the full. The executive lounge is just diagonally opposite the room, which is super convenient. ☕️ Dining Snippets ❶. Glimpses of gourmet: Since it's our Yunnan people's hotel, the variety of coffee beans is naturally the unique small-grain coffee from southern Yunnan, and you can taste this moderately sour and mellow flavor in the Dian Bar, executive lounge, and Chang Street all-day dining restaurant. Dian Bar incorporates a tropical rainforest style, where taking a break feels like returning to Xishuangbanna; the executive lounge has a private meeting room on the far right, with afternoon tea and happy hour offerings that are very on point. During our stay, it coincided with Mother's Day, and all the dessert designs were particularly feminine, with a warm overflow of maternal love, truly tempting; the breakfast restaurant's freshly wrapped meat buns, fried liver, open coffee station (preparing a variety of cold and hot fancy coffees in advance for business travelers to quickly and easily take) are all popular with guests. The Yunnan restaurant on the fourth and a half floor adopts the Dehong small Theravada pagoda style, injecting rare ethnic vitality into the rigid and cold architecture. Next to the hotel is Volkswagen Germany, and due to its advantageous location/area, you are very likely to encounter German long-stay guests and KLM crew members in the restaurant, which also indirectly confirms the high quality of the hotel's dining, otherwise, there wouldn't be so many frequent international travelers willing to stay repeatedly. 🏊 Facilities ❶. Hotel environment: The hotel was built as an official hotel for the Beijing Summer Olympics, and during the Olympics, it received high praise from athletes, coaches, referees, officials, and media teachers from home and abroad. The excellence of the hardware, software, and service is beyond doubt. The gym and swimming pool are on the sixth floor, with the pool having not only standard lanes but also two children's play pools (one at normal temperature and one at high temperature); the gym has an added mezzanine for a better view. Still, I miss the previous staff more, the current lifeguard boy on duty at the pool has a bad attitude and unruly behavior, which really detracts from the hotel's image. 🌟 The Moments ❶. Star employee: Melody from the front office department is serious and responsible in her work, and she ranks among the best in the 31 InterContinental hotels we have stayed in Beijing, and she deserves a thumbs up. 📍 Brief Summary 1. Wonderful moments of the journey: I have stayed at the New Yunnan CP 16 times, and this is the 17th stay. The frequent stays are not because the hotel itself is so luxurious, but because of the hometown obsession and faith in my blood, so every time I go to the Yunteng Hotel for a meal or stay at the New Yunnan Crowne Plaza, I am extremely happy, and that sense of belonging is incomprehensible to ordinary people.
