It's a great time to go out in Beijing, and also the season to escape the heat in the suburbs. ⛲️ I've been to Heilongtan in winter, and the spectacular icefalls are shocking and worth the long journey. In summer, Heilongtan is probably like the world in an oil painting. No need to say beautiful adjectives, the crisp and pleasant cicada roles, the slowly coming pool water, the clear stream that can be seen to the bottom in the early morning, and the oil painting pigments carefully blended from summer and autumn, decorate the mountains, paths, and every corner that someone has visited. · 🚶 The whole journey of Heilongtan is on foot without any small traffic, the road is easy to walk, basically accompanied by many streams, pools, waterfalls, and full of greenery. Places to play in the water, cool off, and rest can be seen everywhere. · 🕙 Total duration: 2h 🚶‍♀️ Round-trip steps about 15000 · 🈯️ Route: Heilongtou Pool - Chentan Pool - Xuantan Pool - Luoyantan Pool - Tongtian Waterfall (this section is about 1/4 of the whole journey) · 🧗‍♀️ After passing the Tongtian Waterfall, continue forward on the right hand side, there will be a small climb, entering a cave to another mountain. If you have poor legs, you can stop here. After that, it is mainly gentle slopes, not difficult. · 🏝 You will pass a series of deep pools: Qutan Pool - Dishuitan Pool - Weitan Pool - Sandietan Pool - Longxitan Pool - Longjuan Shen - Longwang Temple Heilong Zhen Pool - Shenwu Temple (reaching the boundary between Heilongtan and Yunmeng Mountain) · 🗺️ If time allows, you can visit both Heilongtan and Yunmeng Mountain scenic areas 🛤 Yunmeng Mountain: The scenic area takes 3-4 hours to visit, with small traffic.
