🏡 Wat Disanukaram is believed to have been built during the reign of King Rama III. Originally named Wat Changwang Dit or Wat Changwang Dis after its founder, it was later renamed Wat Disanukaram by King Rama IV. The key attractions within the temple include: 🏠 The ordination hall, which is elevated on a base with surrounding balconies. The gable features floral patterns adorned with colored glass. The door and window frames are crowned and decorated with stucco floral patterns. The doors are inlaid with mother-of-pearl floral designs, and the windows are painted with gold leaf patterns. The stair railings are flanked by stucco lion statues. 🖼 The lower part of the ordination hall walls is covered with marble slabs, while the upper part features murals painted with tempera, depicting the Ten Jatakas, the assembly of gods, the Buddha's life, and the Mara's assault. The inner doors are decorated with images of mythical creatures, and the windows feature guardian figures. 🏕 The vihara is smaller than the ordination hall, with a gable depicting the Dharmachakra surrounded by vine patterns.
