Worship the Replica of Phra Phuttha Sihing at Wat Don Mueang

🏕 Wat Don Mueang, a third-class royal monastery, was established in 1895 by Muen Atchaharn (Scribe Phu), who donated the land for the temple's construction. 🏰 Later, the villagers were impressed by the practices of Phra Ajarn Cha (Ajarn On), a Mon monk, and invited him to reside and oversee the temple's construction. 🧱 The temple was granted Wisungkhamsima in 1915. 🖋 It was elevated to the status of a royal monastery in 1989. 👮 The temple is used by the Royal Thai Air Force for religious ceremonies and was built alongside Don Mueang Air Force Base. Important structures within the temple: 🏰 The Ubosot, a reinforced concrete building constructed in 1989, features a Thai-style four-gabled roof.
