Bangkokian Museum was established according to intention and wishes of Waraporn Surawadee, the house owner. She wanted to prepare the house and properties inherited from her mother to found a museum to be available for the next generations and interested persons study. The building and displays tell stories about middle class Bangkokian's way of life and lifestyles before and after the WWII; during 1937-1957.
