Bon Senga is a retro cafe and bakery we found in Toyohashi, Aichi. You can enjoy the bread and sweets you choose at the bakery at the cafe. The bread packaging is retro, and the cafe's decorations are also filled with a retro pop atmosphere. This time, we had Papillo (178 yen), Lemon Cookie (210 yen), and Iced Coffee (430 yen). The cafe space has three tables and six counter seats. Bon Senga was founded in 1912 as a confectionery wholesaler, and took on its current form in 1979. It's my first time here, but it feels nostalgic. This is a recommended retro pop cafe and bakery. Business hours are from 10:00 to 21:00 (subject to change). [Kawashige] Kanagawa: 2 minutes walk from Kamakura Station | Shirasu bowl (¥ 1380) A quaint Japanese-style exterior in a good location just after entering Komachi Street. Soba seems to be a popular restaurant, but I ordered a shirasu bowl that I really wanted to eat, and it was very quick to serve. Comes with pickles, simmered dishes, and soup. When fried in a pot, the green onions were very good and I ate them in no time! !! There was also a women-only menu that included a mini bowl and soba, so I wanted to eat that too ... !!!! The interior is luxurious and clean, but it is a reasonable and easy-to-enter space ^ _ ^ * Closed on Tuesdays

I went to Chao, a specialty spaghetti restaurant in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. It's located just 3 minutes from the Shinkansen, JR, and Meitetsu stations. The spicy, unique sauce and thick pasta are exquisite. I especially recommend the buffet. 😎Today, I want to share Yoshida Castle in Toyohashi, Japan, a super charming historical site🧐 📌Yoshida Castle is located in Imahashi-cho, Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and was originally called "Imahashi Castle." It has a long history, having been built by Makino Kobaku as early as 1505. It was repeatedly attacked by the Imagawa, Tokugawa, and Takeda clans. In 1590, Ikeda Terumasa was enfeoffed here, and after his vigorous development, he built a castle with a territory of 152,000 koku. However, after the Battle of Sekigahara, Ikeda Terumasa was transferred to Himeji Castle in Harima. Although small daimyo were subsequently enfeoffed, there was no further large-scale expansion. 🏰The most intuitive thing about Yoshida Castle is its architectural style. The castle walls are traditional Japanese castle style, with blue tiles and white walls, which look particularly imposing in the sunlight. This is the key point of Mikawa's east side, witnessing the continuous development and change of local history, and the spirit of Bushido is well reflected here. 💡There are many interesting things to see at Yoshida Castle. For example, it takes about 20 minutes to walk from Toyohashi Station, and even faster if you take the tram. There are many places worth exploring in the castle, such as the stone walls, which are said to be engraved with various daimyo family crests, and may have been built with stones left over from the construction of Nagoya Castle. The view from the armory is very nice, overlooking the surrounding scenery and imagining the defensive layout of the past. There is also a simulated castle tower, as the original castle tower was destroyed in the 1854 earthquake, and what you see now is a restored building. Although the restored building cannot fully show the scale of the past, it still allows us to feel its former majesty. 📸There are also many photo spots.
