"This hotel is conveniently located near the train station and Wuyi morning market. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary fruit plate. The room featured solid wood furniture, and the bathroom was spacious. Overall, our stay was very comfortable. However, the sounds of trains arriving and departing could be heard in the mornings and evenings, which was a bit noisy."

"I had a good experience in this hotel. It was previously booked by my tour and we extended our stay as our train to Lhasa was at 11pm. The staff were courteous and frequently checked in with us to check if everything is satisfactory. I was impressed by staff Jinjin (津津) as she noted that we were headed to the railway station and arranged a complimentary transfer for my family. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Xining in future."

"Facilities: Excellent, no problem. Disposable kettles are wasteful; I suggest using kettles that are universally accepted nationwide. A complimentary breakfast was provided. Room upgrade: 99 yuan. Service: Attentive and warm, polite, and quick to fix the TV. Environment: Large and convenient parking lot, with green slow charging available. Price: 1.2 yuan per unit. The biggest problem is the hotel name isn't prominent; the characters ”56” are too small to see while driving, almost causing me to miss the entrance. The ”Shangpin Hotel” sign, on the other hand, is very eye-catching. I wonder what the owner was thinking? It would be best to put up a ”Yi 56 Hotel” sign before the car entrance. Extending one more night, today I visited the Qinghai Provincial Museum and Art Museum. Tomorrow I'll head back to Chongqing."

"The hotel is 1.7 km from the high-speed train station, and there's the Xinchian Night Market and Nanguan Snack Street nearby. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions about waffles or anything else. They're patient, attentive, and very accommodating. The hotel offers free parking with charging stations, and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes that will satisfy everyone's taste, no matter where they're from. It's very quiet at night, and Xining's summer climate is fantastic; it's cool enough that you don't even need air conditioning."

"Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything."
