Let's do Business - Your Spoken Word | TEN, Old Fire Station Enterprise Centre
May 13, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Salisbury
In business, the delivery of your spoken word has an extremely important link to your success. It’s all about what you’re saying…and…how you’re saying it.
This applies to all aspects of your working world, including when you’re out networking, giving a presentation or update to your colleagues and/or to clients; as a team member, interacting with others; or in your management role, giving tricky feedback to a junior colleague.
Getting this right can make a real difference, which is why we are so pleased to be facilitating this event with the expert, Hugh Vivian of ROCKsalt Training. During this morning session, Hugh will explain more about how to hone your spoken word, asking you to reflect on what you are saying and how you are saying it.
Are you making sense?
Are you concise?
Do you have enthusiasm and energy?
Can you build rapport…people who deliver their spoken word, who can speak with confidence, conviction and clarity have mastered all of these… and so can you.
We do hope you can join us; refreshments including teas and coffees, as well as bacon rolls will be available on arrival. We look forward to seeing you there!

AI is transforming how we work, communicate, create and live. But too many women still feel unsure, overwhelmed, or left out of the conversation.
Not anymore.
AI for Her

using AI without jargon, without judgment, and without feeling like they’re “too late.”
Whether you’re building a business, growing a career, or returning from maternity leave and wondering what’s changed this session will give you the knowledge, language, and tools to step forward with clarity.
A Note from Lois
I’m Lois, founder of
Work Smarter with AI.
I'm passionate about helping women use AI to reclaim time, grow in confidence, and lead with impact.
I believe women
must
take up space in the AI world. Not just because it’s the future but because if we’re not part of shaping it, we risk being left behind.
AI is already influencing how we live, work, and connect. It’s essential that it represents us our values, our voices, and our needs.
That’s why I teach AI in a way that’s practical, empowering, and inclusive. Whether you’re running a business, navigating your career, or returning from maternity leave, you deserve to feel confident using the tools that are shaping tomorrow.
I created this workshop to be a supportive, no-judgement space where women can ask questions, build real skills, and walk away feeling like,
“Yes I can do this.”
I’d love for you to join us.
